Good morning, welcome to You and Me America’s Prayer Meeting. I’m pastor Janet your host for this morning. I would like for you to get comfortable and stay with me for the next three hours as we pray for the needs of those that are going to be calling in this morning.

I always stand upon the promise of God. He said anything we ask in his name, were two or more are gathered in agreement, it will come to pass. Think about all of the prayer Saints that are out there this morning that are out there praying along with the needs of the callers were going to be calling in this morning.

Praise God, he neither slumbers nor sleeps, he changes not. He does listen to everything we speak unto his ears. It is his good pleasure to bless us and to send forth the answer to our prayers that we put up the glory.

I want to speak this morning about how when we serve God, we cannot serve God halfway. We need to give our whole heart completely unto Jesus. You know when you straddle the fence and one day you want to be in the world, and the next day you want to serve Jesus, and you are going down the pathway. One day in, one day out, all it does is bring forth confusion in your life.

Jesus says in the word, and I stand upon it and I believe, that God is not the author of confusion but he is power, love and a sound mind. We should walk with the mind that is state upon Christ, asking Christ, the Bible says, to give us the mind of Christ.

His ways are far above our ways, and his ways are perfect. We cannot always understand the ways of God. I know this but we bring forth our thought processes, we need to have the same thought processes like Jesus did. How do we receive that? we say, here I am, I’m asking you to put me on the potter’s wheel, I’m asking you to mold me and make me into a vessel of honor, and a vessel of beauty.

We have to ask God to mold us and make us into what he would have for us to be. When we come to Jesus we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. If we say that we have not committed sinned, we are calling God a liar. We have all had things in our lives. We are born from our mother’s womb in sin and iniquity, but God says I’ve got a plan for you. It is not to do you harm but to do you good. Jesus immediately begins to work.

I look back on my own life and I think about the many times that Jesus was there for me and I did not even realize that he was therefore be. I did not have a relationship with the Lord, I had not said, here I am Lord. Take my heart, and make it right before you. You know the thoughts of man go along with what is in his heart. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak.

Whatever you speak is what will be in your heart. And if your heart is full of anger and full of the things that should not be there, that is what you will bring forth with your mouth. There will be life and death in the power of the tongue. When you gave your life 100% to Jesus, you will find that it is easy to do the works of the Lord.

It is easy to love your enemy and do good to your enemies when you have Christ in your life. Think about it. When Jesus died upon the cross, and he cried out, father father and why have you forsaken me? he also spoke and said, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. And they did not know what they were doing

Many times they speak against us, and they don’t understand what they are doing and the Bible says do not touch my anointed, and do not do my prophets any harm. And the Bible also says, they spoke against the prophets of old, and they will speak against you, too. The Bible says beware when they speak well of you.

People have reasons why they think they need to cut people down. Sometimes it is because their heart is not right with God. But when our heart is 100% right with God, do you know what? you don’t have any anger in your heart, you don’t have the malice in your heart. You want to be kind to everybody that is around you, you want to show love and you want to show compassion and you want to show goodness.

When you show goodness and compassion and whatever you give out, that is what you will receive. We want people to love us, and we are commanded by the word of God that we are to love other people and we should love one another. The greatest commandment that we are given and we should love the Lord our God with all of our heart, and with all of our mind, and with all of our strength. We should always make him number one.

Jesus says if you love me, keep my commandments. The commandments of God are not hard if you serve him come lately. When you are have in, and have out, do you know what? it is hard and you struggle because you do not really know who you are.

When you give your heart 100% to Jesus, you know who you are through Christ Jesus. You will receive the joy of the Lord that will give you strength you will receive blessing upon blessing, upon blessing. How wonderful it is when we speak out to Jesus and we receive the praise report that Christ has heard our cries.

He and he alone can send our answers. We cannot come to the throne room of glory when we have a heart that has been hardened by the things in our lives. We have to lay aside the anger, the wrath, the malice, and we need to learn to be kind one to another. When you set your heart to be kind to somebody, it is easy to serve Jesus and it is easy to love him.

I want to share some Scriptures with you this morning, I want to go to Deuteronomy chapter 6:5. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

We need to really fall in love with Jesus. When you stop and think about it, and when you love somebody, that is the person you want to talk about. When you meet that new husband, or that new wife, or that new flame in your life, you want to tell everybody all of the wonderful things about that person.

When you truly give your total heart to Jesus and you fall in love with him, you will not stop talking about the wonderful things that Jesus has done in your life. By the blood of the Lamb, and the word of our testimony, you are and overcomer. When we murmur and when we complain, do you know what? people don’t want to hear that. People want to hear the good report. I talk about it, from the book of Philippians 4:8, and I say that good report is Christ Jesus.

When your mind is on Jesus, your mind is not thinking about what the world has to offer and how the enemy tries to trick you to tempt you, and to get you to do things that you should not be doing.

When your mind is stayed upon Jesus, you want to just skip down the street and have a hallelujah time in Jesus just always worshiping and praising him and putting on some good Christian music, and singing the songs of Zion and enjoying what Christ has done in your life. When we go to the music break, and why do I say sing along, dance along, and he enjoyed the blessings and enjoy your salvation? this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I want to go to Deuteronomy 30:2, “And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.”

When you serve Jesus halfheartedly, you are still in the bondage of the things of the world. There are only two spirits in this world, and one is the spirit of God and the other is the spirit of the enemy. But we want to serve the spirit of Jesus Christ that we can receive opening the blessings of God. Whom the son has set free, is free indeed and you will not receive freedom unless you give yourself 100% unto the Lord.

Sometimes when Jesus molds us, do you know what? we don’t like it. God will take things out of our lives, and that need to be taken out of our lives, and God will take it out sometimes severely when he knows that it is best for you. He died upon the cross of Calvary for every soul and Jesus once every soul to make have in their home. Some people that refuse to repent. We need to remember that repentance is the first app that we take during our salvation.

We need to ask God to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse our heart and, and live in our heart. God will not live in an unclean temple. This is why we have to keep our heart right before the Lord. When we give bitter and when we get angry, they become violent, when we become rebellious do you know what? God does not want to live in a heart like that. He is a pure and holy God he wants to live in a pure and holy heart and in a pure and holy Temple.

Nobody will look upon God’s face without holiness. You and I are striving to live holy before the Lord. Do we slip and fall? yes we do. The Bible says the righteous will fall seven times, and they will pick themselves up and the wicked will fall seven times and they will lay their in their mess, and they wallow in their mess, just like a pig wallowing in the mud and a pig pen. They make no attempt to get up and shake off the shackles and make their life right before the Lord.

I want to share a Psalms 119:2 “Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.” Also Psalm 119:34, “Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.”

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all of these things will be added unto you. We need to learn to be obedient unto God. Do you know what? it is the little foxes that spoil the vine. Little things will try to creep in and creep in. The next thing you know, something bigger is creeping in. And the next thing you know, the devil is sitting back and saying, I have got you. But I say that Jesus is the one that watches over us and he leads us and guide us.

God teaches us to be obedient. The Bible says Jesus learned obedience through the suffering that he went through. You and I through suffering we learn to be obedient unto the word of God and unto the will of God. When we come into that place of obedience that suffering is removed from us and we receive the joy of the Lord that is giving us every blessing that comes down from the father of lights.

I want to go to Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

We cannot think about what God is trying to say to us. We need to trust in God and know that God will bring us out with the victory. I think it is wonderful how the Lord would lead and guide us to the river. God led the Hebrew children to the Red Sea, and he led them to the Jordan, and God opened the water and God took them across. And in their minds, and when they stood there at the water, and they wondered but what we do? and the banks of the Jordan were overflowing.

But God knew what he would do. The people did not know what God was getting ready to do. They had seen him bring forth their ancestors through the Red Sea but because of their murmuring and complaining, they were not able to go into the promised land that the Lord had promised to them.

We need to stand and trust God, that when we come into the River no matter how deep the river is, that God is going to take us through and whether he will take us through by opening the Red Sea, and opening the Jordan, whether God can pick you up and carry you across so you don’t get your feet wet, and they will not be but because Jesus has carried you over.

Remember this, say–I trust in you Jesus, and I give you my whole heart, I know that you are able to bring forth everything in my life. If I have food and clothing, I need to learn to be content. Look at all of the wonderful things the Lord has given us besides.

I want to go to Jeremiah 29:13 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Do you know what? we cannot just wait until trials and problems, and then say here I am Jesus, help me, help me Jesus, help me. We need to continually trust and seek the Lord. How do we seek the Lord? with all of our heart. We need to go into prayer and we need to pray like we have never prayed before, Saints of God. We are living in perilous times. We are living in the days of sorrow before the wrath of God is going to be poured out upon the earth. Jesus is going to call the Saints of God home.

The trumpet is going to sound, and we will hear it, we are going to be raised up and we are going to be caught out of the world, to go and to be with Jesus in the city, where the builder and the maker is Jesus Christ. There will be no need for any light, because Jesus alone is going to be the light of the city. Remember this, always see God in prayer, and praise him, and praise him, and God desires your praises and he and he alone is worthy to be praised.

You have life, you have health, and you have strength. You are sitting today because of the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. Nobody can harm you. Nobody can, against you and Jesus has his protection all around you. I say he goes before you, he will follow behind you, he will put the Angels around about you. We will be totally and completely shielded and protected, 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

I want to end my message with the book of Joel 2:12. “Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:” I also want to give you Matthew 22:37. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

You see, the Pharisees were all of the time trying to tempt Jesus. They wanted to get him to do something that they could say, “Look what you did.” isn’t that just like the enemy? that we have today? Look what she did. Look what he did. I’m going to tell on you! but I say God is faithful even when we are not.

So the Pharisees tempted him by saying, Master, what is the greatest commandment in the law? and Jesus repeated unto them, that when they come forth, they need to seek the Lord with all of the heart, we need to fast, we need to weep, and we need to mourn and we need to cry for the things that are going on around us. Weeping will endure for the night, but joy will come in the morning. Praise the Lamb of God.

We need to get our hearts on fire for God. As we were getting ready to come out to our set, and we were getting ready here, and bringing out my little cup that I have, and with my juice, and the things that I needed to bring on the program, we were going down the hallway saying, God, send the fire, send the fire. Only the fire is going to purge things out of your life so you can be pure before God.

Oh, Saints of God, when we look upon the face of Jesus, it will be well worth it, everything that we have gone through on the Earth that we gave our lives completely to Jesus and our hearts were washed by the blood of the lamb and they were cleansed and they were pure and made whole.

I pray in the name of Jesus. It is in his name, that we do every word and deed and I say, it will be well.
