Listen To: “No_Condemnation” 2.9 MB 17 min
It is wonderful to stop and think about Jesus. He is the King of Kings, he is the Alpha and the Omega, yet he has time to listen to you. He will listen to you. Jesus says he knows what you need. We have not because we ask not, and we have not because we ask amiss. It is God’s good pleasure to bless you. Jesus died for each and every soul. God will show no favoritism.
I talked last night about forgiveness. I want to tie in with that, we have no condemnation in our lives when we are in Christ Jesus. People might want to say all manner of evil against you. They did it to the people of old, they did it to Jesus, and they will say things against us also. They came against Jesus. Jesus did not open his mouth. I think that is an example for us.
When things come against us, and people try to drag us down, it is best not to open our mouths. The Bible says we do not contend with the enemy. We keep our mouth quiet before the Lord. When the devil came to Michael the Archangel, Satan wanted the bones of Moses. Michael said, “The Lord Jesus rebuke you.” Sometimes we think we have to say a long message to get the job done. However, words are powerful when you give the Word of God. You don’t have to say a lot, just rebuke the devil.
We are in Christ. If he has set you free, you are free indeed. How can you be free? All we have to do is confess our sins and say, Lord I have committed sin. I want to turn my life around. I’m asking you to forgive me. I’m asking you to put this into the sea of forgetfulness. Open up my heart, live in my heart. I will serve you and I will read the Bible, and I will go to the house of the Lord. I will do the things that you want me to do. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
It is not Jesus who condemns you. Jesus wants you to be free. He wants you full of the joy of the Lord. He will be your strength. But it is people around you that want to condemn you. Why do we want to condemn one another? Sometimes I hate to say this, but we have Jealousy. We are not supposed to covet what our neighbor has. We should be grateful and happy for those who prosper.
The Bible says rejoice with those who rejoice, and cry with those who cry. Give honor to those to whom honor is due. When somebody receives a blessing, we should rejoice. We should rejoice with them. When you rejoice with them, you will have joy you cannot contain. It is joy Jesus has for you.
I want to start off this morning, from the book of Isaiah 50:9. “Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.”
When people say things to hurt us, we want to retaliate. However, as I’ve said this morning, it is best if we do not answer them. We do answer them in wrath. The Bible says a kind word will turn away wrath. When somebody comes at you and carrying on, and running their mouth, you need to say something kind. Say something helpful to them.
Turn that anger around. When you do, they can have the peace, joy and love in their lives. The enemy comes to kill. That is exactly what he is doing. But I’m here remind you this morning, Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. That is exactly what he did when he died on the cross of Calvary. He was in the tomb for three days, he went to hell. He took the keys of death, hell and the grave away from Satan. Now we have the victory over Satan in our lives. Jesus has already won the victory over the enemy. We have victory over the “last enemy” which is death.
Only Jesus can take away the sting of death in our lives. We do not have to be sorrowful when we lose somebody. The Bible says if you know that they have made it to heaven, you should rejoice. There is much to rejoice about. They are in the city that is made by God. There is no sickness. There is no sorrow. There is no death. There is nothing there but joy unspeakable and full of glory. We will be in the presence of Jesus. We will be with our loved ones that have gone before us.
The Bible says we will put off of the old man. In heaven we will be known even as we are known. I believe and receive when we get to glory and we see our loved ones, we will know them. We will have fellowship with them for all for eternity. What a blessing and what a blessing.
Luke 6:37. “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.”
We are not called to judge anyone. Only Jesus can look upon the heart of someone and we look at the outside and we hear the tattle tales, we hear the people tear down other people. They say did you hear about this and that? So many times they will say, I will tell you this so you can pray. Really, they just want to gossip.
We should automatically pray about things. We should not be going around wanting to gossip. We should not be Gossiping. The person you are talking about is not “condemned.” if we judge, we will be judged. If we condemn them, we will be condemned. If we forgive them, we will be forgiven. I am grateful and thankful as I said last night, there is only one unpardonable sin and that is the blaspheming against the Holy Ghost.
We do not want to say there is not a God. The fool has said there is no God. We believe and receive the manifestation of the Lord all around us. I love to sit out in my backyard and have my coffee. You hear me talk about my little dog that goes with me. I look at the trees; they are beautiful. Then I see the blue sky. I see the clouds. The Bible says the clouds of the sky are the dust beneath his feet. (Nahum 1:3) You know the Lord is there as you look at the sky. We know it is beautiful.
It’s a thrill to be able to speak to the Lord. I say to the Lord, you know how much I love you. I want you to know I care. Don’t let people try to take you off of the Lord’s pathway for your life. The enemy wants you to stop along the way. He wants you to waiver all down a side street. I say the pathway to glory is a straight. Many are called to go to the straight pathway. His path will lead you straight to the kingdom of God.
When the trumpet sounds, praise the name of God, we will leave here with a shout. Praise the Lord, and praise the Lord. If we were under condemnation, do you know what? We would just have no hope whatsoever. Our hope is not of this world, and our hope is in the world hereafter. We are just given a few years on the Earth. We are pilgrims traveling through the land. We have the victory and deliverance through Jesus. We have freedom to be set free and to serve Jesus throughout eternity.
St. John 3:18. “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
The Bible clearly says, everything you do in word or in deed, you do it all in precious name of Jesus. There is no other name whereby we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) When the enemy hears the name of Jesus, he will run away. The devil does believe and tremble. The devil knows Jesus. Satan was kicked out of heaven. He wanted to be higher than Jesus. Satan wanted to be higher than God. He was kicked out of heaven.
I praise God for the victory, on every facet, every side, victory, victory, victory, through Jesus Christ. We are not condemned, but we are set free by the blood of the lamb and the cross of Calvary, in the name of Christ.
St. John 5:24. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
You have heard me tell the story so many times about my girlfriend. Sadly, she passed away. I was concerned about her. I asked the Lord if she made it home to heaven. I wanted to know if she was alright in heaven. Do you know what? God showed me she was there. Her name was Jan and we were a couple twins. We were always together. We were always helping people. We would go out and deliver food. We wanted to help people. I’m not saying I’m anything. I’m nothing. Jesus provided the food. He would order our footsteps.
But what I want to say, I would say Jan, or “Jannie pie.” When I saw her in heaven, I said, “I thought you died.” She said “no.” Before I got out the next word, she said, “I have been here all along.” I said, “I want to see Jesus.” She said, “He will be coming along.” You hear me tell the story. I looked out; the grass was the perfectly the same height. The house was all glass. The ceiling was glass. You could look out; you could see the clouds.
When I looked out, there were mansions down a cobblestone road. Then I saw Jesus coming in a horse cart. It was by my daughter’s pony pulling the cart. The pony had just passed away. There was a dog there. On earth he had been so old. It was our old dog. Now he had a brand-new coat of white hair. When you serve Jesus you are going to have everlasting life.
There is not only the one unpardonable sin. Anything else you have done, it does not matter now. God will not only forgive you, but he will put it into the sea of forgetfulness. He will not remember it. You’ll be set free. I say hallelujah, hallelujah, and hallelujah. I say it is well, it is well, and it is well. When we pass from death, we are not going to taste of death.
Praise his name; we will go from death into the throne of glory. Jesus will welcome us with open arms. We have life abundant life here. We have life everlasting with Jesus in heaven. There is no condemnation concerning anything in our lives when we are forgiven. We do not deliberately sin against God.
The Bible says where sin abounds, grace much more abounds. But we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. We have the blessings from the Lord. We are overcomers. Jesus has helped us. We are totally and completely overcomers.
We will go to Romans 8:1. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
We should crucify the flesh. We need to fast and pray. We need to lift up the spirit so the spirit would be strong. So we would not walk after the flesh. We do not want the things of the flesh. We need to walk and desire the things of the spirit. We want a closer walk with the Lord. We desire more and more of the wonderful things that come down from the throne of glory. We would like to have the blessings God has for us.
We are not condemned anymore. When we were living in sin, we were condemned to a devils hell, but praise the name of God, no more condemnation. God has called us, God loves us. God has set us free from the condemnation.
Romans 8:34. “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
Hallelujah. When you call upon the name of Jesus, he will hear your cries. I stand upon the promises. As we pray on The Prayer Meeting, Jesus will listen to your cries. It is his good pleasure to give you the answer you need. He will bestow favor and blessing upon you. I also want to say, Jesus makes intercession through the spirit.
St. John 4:24. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” All of this is done by his spirit. It is not by might it is not power, but it is by the spirit of the Lord. 1st John 3:21. “Beloved, if our heart condemns us not, then have we confidence toward God.”
Your heart, and when you start giving your life 100% to Jesus, God will touch your heart. You do not want to go where you used to go. You will find joy like you have never known in your life. It is a joy you have never known before. It is a love you have never known in your life. You’ve got to remember to have your heart pure. Have your heart right before Christ. You can receive everything wonderful the Lord has done for you. There are blessings in glory with your name on them.
As I close this morning, I want to go to First John 3:20. “For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.”
He knows all things. If you have condemnation in your heart, then all you have to say is, “Lord Jesus, I’m asking you to forgive me of what I have done. I have had pain in my heart. A have had bitterness in my heart. I’ve had anger in my heart. I’m asking you to forgive me. I ask you to set me free. Put my sins into the sea of forgetfulness.”
Say goodbye to your sins; they will never come up again. Praise the name of God. We say in the name of Jesus, you will begin to walk on the pathway of the Lord. You will have so much joy. You will be amazed. God will do things that will amaze you every day. God will do even some small things in your life. It will still be amazing.
You know, sometimes when I’m out and I’m tired, and I’ve made a few stops, I will pray. I will say Lord, let there be a parking place by the front door. Then I drive up, and drive in. That is my Jesus. He will not only do big things for you, he will do wonderful things in your life.
He will do even the smaller things you want also. Everything is in his hand. I say in the name of Jesus, give your life 100% to him. Ask him to forgive you. Ask him to live in your heart. He will be there so suddenly, your life will turn around. I’m a living witness. I’m telling you Jesus did this in my life. I never dreamed how my life would change. When I received Jesus in my heart, I saw what Jesus wanted to do in my life. After he came in, my life turned around. And I say it is well, it is well, and it is well. Thank you for joining me this morning.
